The mattress is cushioned with PE foam (Polyethylene) which is a high quality closed cell foam which is quite versatile in that it provides water-resistance and is also mould and mildew proof. Built into this is the impact dampening it features which leads to a comfortable and cushioned base for sleeping
The Z Mat Sleep Mat weighs in at 580g so fairly low weight addition to your sleeping gear and packs down well - ideal for strapping to outside of your daypack
